Calgary and Area Wedding Photographer: Leslie and Luis

This wedding came to me totally last minute but I am so glad it did! It was a lovely afternoon. I think worked out well! My friend Heather emailed and asked if I had an upcoming weddings she could follow me around at to practice taking pictures for her first upcoming wedding shoot. So she came along with me to Leslie's wedding. (Her pictures will be on her blog here soon.) Leslie was so easy going and didn't mind that I showed up with a friend who wanted to shoot too! It was a super easy going crowd and such a relaxed feeling the whole time!

On the same weekend as the last one we got snowed out of pictures for this lovely little family too! So we had to make due (as they were driving down from Calgary) so we tried out the Lethbridge Lodge. It got dark in their FAST but I think we did okay.

We were going to shoot these outside but with two very new babies it needed to be a LOT nicer than it was! So we set up in the basement and took them all studio style instead!

These kids were totally goofballs. Which made it lots of fun :) And they thought I was so funny (strange but true) so they were laughing at pretty much anything. I love love love how everyone was dressed!

i love this picture. a lot. Anyone who has had pictures taken knows there is often a lot of bargaining going on with your kids. I love that the deal making is caught. But I also love the stance of daddy-o. Love the way the mom is talking to her son. Love the lovely little girl playing with hay in her hand. Love the marvelous light and shadows on the ground. Love the setting. I love it :)
